Singaro's professional spark plug gap tool is compatible with most standard spark plugs, including 14mm, 12mm, 10mm, and 16mm sizes. It is especially useful for short thread depth plugs found in chainsaws, string trimmers, and other small equipment engines. Please note that it is not compatible with 18mm thread or long reach/short reach spark plugs.

This tool features a dual-marked stainless steel feeler gauge with a measurement range from 0.001 inch to 0.04 inch (0.03mm to 1mm). The gauge is constructed from high-quality flexible 65 manganese steel, hardened and polished for durability and accuracy. It is highly recommended for both personal and professional use in machinery stores or automobile garages.

When using the tool, keep in mind that some spark plug electrodes may bounce back due to the material of the spark plug. For an optimal gap of 0.046 inches, we suggest using the 0.044 inch feeler gauge size. It is advised to go slightly smaller than the target gap for best results. This spark plug gap tool is versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.

Using the tool is simple: just place your spark plug on the spark plug gapper, select your desired feeler, and slowly screw the knob until the side electrode compresses to the desired gap thickness. Please note that this tool is designed to close gaps and will not open them.
